A catch-all feature that is activated for a particular mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you deactivate an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped address under the very same domain name, you will get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be vital if you are running a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited emails, you can combine the catch-all functionality with email filters so as to receive only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox easily if you’ve got a shared hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-laden, yet exceptionally user-friendly, and it will permit you to activate various options, including the catch-all one, with no more than a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the email addresses that you have will be enumerated in alphabetical order in this section and on the right-hand side of each of them you’ll see a tiny "Catch-all" icon. Clicking it once will enable this feature, clicking on it for a second time will deactivate it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have a different one with this option enabled or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server package that we are offering will allow you to configure a catch-all e-mailbox with ease even in case you don’t have much email/web hosting experience. All you need to do to accomplish that is click on the catch-all icon, which will be next to each email address that you have created using your domains in the Email Manager section of the hosting Control Panel. Since you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will let you know if you’ve already created another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you want to use has email forwarding activated. In case you decide that you do not need this feature anymore, you can disable it by clicking once again on the exact same icon. The Email Manager section will also allow you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
